Dale and Carolyn Kreager
65th Anniversary
Dale and Carolyn (Lamb) Kreager are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on March 12, 2018! High school sweethearts, Dale and Carolyn graduated from North Central High School in 1952. They were married the following year at the First Methodist Church in Spokane.
The young couple moved to Camp Pendleton while Dale was serving in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. They returned to the Inland Northwest, where they settled in Coeur d’Alene in 1961, where their three children, Rose, Mike and Kip graduated. They have nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Dale retired from the construction industry, having helped build the sea wall on Lake Coeur d’Alene. Carolyn, along with her mother, Ruby, started the Coeur d’Alene Modeling Association at the North Shore Resort.
A special celebration party will be held at a later date this summer for friends and family.

103rd Birthday
Hear ye! Hear ye!
The family of Arvagene Sparling is pleased to announce the celebration of her 103rd birthday!
Born March 11, 1915, in Noble, Okla., Arvagene was the oldest of seven daughters. She moved to California in 1936, where she met and married David Sparling. They were married 44 years. Arvagene eventually moved to Coeur d’Alene in May 1999.
Arvagene is an accomplished artist, particularly enjoying oil painting and china painting. She is a master gardener, wonderful cook and a talented seamstress. Her skills also include the ability to play a mean game of cards! She was active in church until her health declined the past year.
Arvagene has been blessed with three children, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren!
