Linda Doreen Conger

Fifty-six years of missionary work comes to an end.

Linda Doreen Conger, a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died Wednesday March 7, 2018, of a sudden illness, with family members by her side.

Linda, a native Oregonian, recently moved to Post Falls, Idaho, three years ago to enjoy retirement and continue her missionary work. With her husband of 53 years, they fulfilled two full-time missions, eight local stake missions, and when living with her husband in Germany, she served a district mission. Her idea was that everyone should hear about the gospel of Jesus Christ as it has been restored in these latter days.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on March 15, 2018, at the LDS church, 1824 E. 16th Ave., in Post Falls.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell; two daughters; Lori and Jill; son, Brad (along with their spouses); 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her brother, Tom; sister, Elaine (and their spouses).

Truly it can be said by her, as by Paul, “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:6-7)

Bell Tower Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
