Kealey running for state treasurer

Boise businessman Tom Kealey is seeking the Republican nomination for state treasurer in the May 15 primary election.

Kealey and his wife, Joy, own the Chicago Connection Restaurant Group, which operates seven Treasure Valley restaurants.

A CPA, Kealey holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Washington.

Kealey is chairman and president of Silver Creek Holding Company. He was a member of Idaho’s Endowment Fund Investment Board for 14 years, a member of Blue Cross of Idaho’s board for eight years and a former board member and investor in Fresca Mexican Foods.
