GUNS: Fewer bullets, more lives

| March 4, 2018 12:00 AM

In regard to these mass shootings, the one item each had in common was to be able to shoot as much in as short a time as possible.

Not all mass shooters had a history of mental issues, nor did they all use military style guns. Some used pistols, etc.

Why not limit the amount of bullets a gun can hold? Say six bullets, because of the revolvers.

An auto pistol could be limited to five in the clip and one in the barrel. The same as any rifle that takes a clip.

How fewer people might have been shot in Vegas or Florida if the shooter had to reload every five shots?

This would comply with the Second Amendment as you could still bear arms. May cause an inconvenience as to you having to reload, but would be worth the lives that might be saved.

I wrote our three congressmen, but have not heard from any at this time.

I am amazed they are worried about which gender is using the bathroom or about abortion, yet continue to make sure any mass shooter has access to the tools he may need.

Don’t live people matter? Don’t they have the right to their life?
