Dunlap turns on the lights

| March 3, 2018 12:00 AM

Make that 53.

Former North Idaho College President Joe Dunlap, recently appointed to the college’s board of trustees, became the 53rd elected or appointed official to voluntarily disclose his financial information. The objective is for people with their hands on the public’s pursestrings to indicate areas where conflicts of interest might one day arise.

City, county and state elected officials from Kootenai County who haven’t voluntarily shared a snapshot of their finances may send their information to Editor Mike Patrick: mpatrick@cdapress.com

The Press is keeping an updated website on all those who do and don’t disclose their finances. Go to: http://bookshelf.cdapresshost.com/disclosures
