DEFENSE: Lethal only answer

Yes, gun or any violence in our schools must get managed ASAP. We could confiscate all guns or we could close all the schools or turn every school into a fortress that nobody enters or leaves without clearance — all quite impractical.

The guns, knives and other killing methods exist in abundance and a motivated killer won’t be dissuaded. The only immediate answer is to place a defense as effective as the offense, which is, sad to say, lethal and maniacal.

These situations do not arise often, but when they do, they are horrific. The only practical answer is the immediate availability of a lethal defense. To leave students and staff defenseless is itself criminal idiocy. The best solution is the one that could work next week. Arm the staff, train the staff and pray none of the efforts is ever needed. And be happy to have a president able to see this need and who does not politicize mass murder.

In time other solutions can come online. But in the interim, some new nutcase draws their demonic attack plans. Will they slaughter sheep or meet a sound and final defense?

Stop screeching for impossible answers and plan for the known perils.
