SEPARATION: Hypocrisy abounds

| June 29, 2018 1:00 AM

A single parent U.S. citizen commits a crime in the U.S. Until he/she has a bail hearing, any minor children are separated from the alleged criminal to an appropriate government agency. If bail is denied, the separation continues.

In the case of a two-parent family, if the other parent is involved in the alleged commission of the crime, or deemed incompetent, any minor children are separated.

If a minor child is involved in an alleged crime, a separation occurs, and any non-involved minor children are additionally separated. There are probably other examples where children are legitimately separated from other family members. Nobody expects otherwise and no one complains or files lawsuits. If the crime(s) occur outside the U.S., we have many and repeated instances where the U.S. citizen is thrown in prison and the key is “thrown away.”

You all know that if the person(s) are foreign nationals, minors with parents, unaccompanied children, or adults, and they illegally cross into the U.S., somehow the expectations for separation are different. And even when any objective observer knows that the current problem is planned and carried out by violent criminal gangs and organizations, somehow the press, and many Democrats, complain, demonstrate, obstruct, sue, disrupt and generally want different rules and treatment for these illegal “immigrants.”

How incredibly stupid are we? How power hungry and selfish are we? How hateful of President Trump are we? I hope those who are, are still in the minority of the politicians, less than 94 percent of the press and near zero of our voters.
