Rollover crash reported at Kathleen and U.S. 95

COEUR d’ALENE — A vehicle was flipped onto its top after sideswiping another vehicle Saturday morning in Coeur d'Alene.
Idaho State Police reported that an injury crash occurred at the intersection of northbound U.S. 95 and Kathleen Avenue just after 9 a.m.
Michael Schaffer, 27, of Coeur d'Alene, was traveling northbound in a black 2000 Jeep Cherokee when he sideswiped a silver 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by William Harris, 56, of Athol, police reported.
Harris was stopped in the left turn lane to go westbound on Kathleen. After Schaffer's vehicle made contact, the vehicle rolled and came to rest on its top on the north side of the intersection.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, police reported. Details about injuries were not available at press time Saturday evening.
