AVISTA: Keep local control

We live in a wonderful part of the United States where we are fortunate enough to have:

- Clean air except in fire season.

- Clean water in abundance.

- The availability of natural gas.

- Hydroelectric power near the source and under our control.

With the world becoming unhinged (polite), why would we want to turn over control of our electric power (Avista) to foreigners (Hydro One) based in far off Toronto, Canada? In this era, our lives depend completely on electricity. We should retain control of our source and distribution of our electric power.
