CANDIDATE: An introduction

I am W. Scott Howard, and I am running for U.S. House of Representatives District 1.

A registered Libertarian, I respect an individual’s choice to live and work as they choose. Liberty is a fundamental right that shall not be taken from us.

I decided to run for Congress because I believe the two-party mentality is dividing our country rather than uniting it. Politicians polarizing issues that should never be polarized. Each person should be left to follow their own dreams. I am also tired of seeing career politicians and the voice of smaller communities being drowned out by metropolitan cities.

My top three priorities in running are:

- Working toward an amendment for term limits for Congress by any means necessary.

- Fighting to remove legislation that infringes on our citizens’ gun rights.

- Removing unnecessary government.
