TURNOUT: Wait for Independents

The pundits and your paper need to go easy on voter turnout numbers during primaries. There are untold numbers of voters who do not take part in primaries because we/they are registered Independent and there is no one to vote for.

I would suggest counting heads during regular elections as we (Independents) are able to mark our choices then.

May I also suggest that with all the focus on the young voter, the powers that be may wish to explore how many of the youngsters will be registered Independents.
