Indians hit four homers, top Boise in finale

SPOKANE — Isaias Quiroz hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning and the Spokane Indians beat the Boise Hawks 8-4 in Northwest League play in front of 3,560 at Avista Stadium on Tuesday.

Quiroz added a solo home run to left field in the seventh for Spokane (2-3), which finished the night with four home runs.

Starling Joseph and Curtis Terry also had solo homers in the win.

Daniel Jipping hit a two-run homer in the top of the first for Boise (3-2), which left 10 runners on base.

Ryan Dease allowed two runs on seven hits over five innings on the mound for Spokane, which begins a three-game series with Tri-City tonight at Gesa Stadium in Pasco at 7:15.
