DOWNTOWN: Show Fido love

Attending yet another Car d’Alene reminded me of a letter I have meant to submit every year but never thought of until the morning of the event.

With the 4th of July around the corner, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS DOWNTOWN!

The noise from the car cruise, parade and fireworks terrify dogs!

I realize it is always fun to bring our dogs with us, but these situations are simply not the place for them! There are lost dogs after these events every year.

So please, if you love your dog, leave him home with the TV on to drown out the noise. Your pet will be much happier...and safer!
