Women's World Long Drive champion to put on exhibition at Prairie Falls

POST FALLS — Phillis Meti, the 2016 women’s World Long Drive champion, is scheduled to give a long drive exhibition Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Prairie Falls Golf Club.
Meti, from New Zealand, holds the record for longest drive by a woman, at 406 yards.
Meti’s close friend is Brittany Bomar, daughter of Prairie Falls co-owner Billy Bomar. Brittany Bomar, who played college golf at Hawaii, is home this summer after playing on the Australian Tour.
Tuesday’s long drive demo is scheduled to consist of a Q&A with Meti, and a long drive competition featuring Phillis and “local long hitters.”
