PRESS: Slighted our president

This week, Tuesday and Wednesday, our president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, met with the “president” of North Korea in Singapore, to stop the possibility of a nuclear holocaust, and what does our president get in the CD’A PRESS?

NOT ONE FRONT-PAGE WORD! (It is covered in a negative report on page three.) WHAT OTHER PRESIDENT HAS EVER DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS? NONE — that I’m aware of!

Kim Jong Un has demonstrated that he can reach Washington, D.C., with a nuclear warhead. If he had, we would have had to retaliate by blowing up North Korea. The only thing stopping him was President Trump and his “Bigger Button,” and Mr. Kim’s fear of that.

Who would have “WON?” NO ONE! In all my 89 years, I have never felt so close to the “fire” (and I was in Korea in 1951-52).

Why don’t I just quit The Press? Because it’s the ONLY ONE IN TOWN. (HAS BEEN SINCE 1936 OR BEFORE.) Why don’t I just “Google” it for the news I want? How would I know what to “Google?” Like so many people I talk to today who never see the “whole” of it, even if it leans to the left. This has been “my town” since 1936.

BUT, I’ve gotten away from my point. It is easy to see whose side The Press is on. It has always been so. I just take it with a grain of salt, and, FIGURE IT OUT FOR MYSELF; BUT THIS SLIGHT OF OUR PRESIDENT IS ALMOST TOO MUCH!
