KOREA: Cheering Anna

I read the South Korean student’s perspective on the North Korea summit you published on June 11. First of all, I applaud you for selecting Ms. Cho to share her unique perspective with us, which she did in a brilliant, yet simple way. Knowing how this event affects her and her family made my perception of the event so much more complete and personal. It reminded me that everything that happens globally both politically and environmentally, affects people personally.

I hope a sense of empathy enhances our discourse with other nations, as well as our conversations here at home. Great job Anna, and thank you.
