KMPO Regional Non-Motorized Transportation Plan Notice of Availability and Public Comment Period A draft of the Kootenai Metropolitan Planning Organization's (KMPO) Regional Non-Motorized Transportation Plan (RNMTP) is now available for public review and comment. The RNMTP was last adopted in 2009. The updated Plan re-analyzes existing conditions of non-motorized transportation and the regional network and identifies current and future needs. The Plan includes recommended network and program improvements to better address non-motorized transportation as a complement to automobile and transit modes in Kootenai County. The public comment period provides an opportunity for the community to review the plan and provide feedback prior to finalizing the draft for further consideration.
