June A. Robnett

June A. Robnett, of Spirit Lake, Idaho, passed away on May 3, 2018, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. June was born in Alexandria, Va., on Sept. 3, 1945, and was the youngest of four daughters born to Dale and Rebecca Parrott.

During her teenage years, June moved to California to live with her sister, Jean. While in California, she met Charles Allen “Chuck” Robnett and the two were married on June 26, 1964. A daughter, Danel Lea “Dannie”, was born in 1965. In 1968 a son was born, Charles “Chucky” Allen, Jr. That same year, little Dannie passed away in a boating accident, leaving a hole in June’s heart that never healed. In 1971, James “Jamey” Andrew was born.

Chuck and June raised their boys in southern California and were kept very busy between 4-H, baseball, football and church youth group. June shuttled the boys to all their activities and never complained about the long days and many miles traveled. She was the parent in the stands, rooting the loudest and often chiding the umpires and referees about a bad call. She was that mom and she was loved for it.

In the mid-1990s Chuck and June relocated their heavy equipment construction business to Idaho until retirement.

June had deep and lasting friendships with numerous women over her adult life, as well as with her nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Rebecca; her sisters, Betty, Margaret and Jean; and her baby girl, Dannie.

June is survived by her husband, Chuck, of Spirit Lake, Idaho; Chuck Robnett Jr, and his wife, Nina, of Hayden, Idaho; and James Robnett and his wife, Leinaala, of Murrieta, Calif.

June had five granddaughters (and one yet-to-be-born great-granddaughter) whom she adored; Kaylise (Ryan) Anstett of Coeur d’Alene; Maddie (Harper) Robnett of Hayden; Dani Robnett and Mikaela Robnett of Murrieta. You girls were the apple of your Gramma Sweetie’s eyes.

June will be interred at noon on June 13, 2018, at Green Acres Cemetery, in Bloomington, Calif., next to her sweet daughter.
