SUCCESS: Celebrating PF Middle School

On Thursday, May 31 Post Falls Middle School hosted its first “Student Success Night.” This night was to celebrate all of the magnificent things happening at Post Falls Middle School. The turn-out was amazing; there were more than 400 people who attended this event. The local businesses played a major role making this night a huge success with their generosity. Their kindness enabled Post Falls Middle School to give thousands of dollars in awards and prizes. North Idaho College donated two $1,000 scholarships; Curtis Orthodontics sold shaved ice (donated proceeds to “Team Anderson”), Numerica Credit Union made a nice donation, and many businesses, including Dairy Queen, Sonic, KFC/A&W, Jack in the Box, La Cabana, donated prizes. Real Life, United Way and the University of Idaho brought many fun activities for families to participate in and around the school. The Post Falls Middle School All Pro Dads chapter did an awesome job of cooking more than 450 hot dogs for families to eat.

The families that attended were able to tour the school for about an hour and half and see many marvelous work samples from students displayed throughout the school. Attendees were also able to participate in many different activities such as; cookies and graphing, slime lab, origami, family science center, climbing, trivia challenges, reality sandbox, student character sketches, and many other activities that got students and families engaged in a positive experience.

The night concluded with an awards ceremony in the gym where many different prizes were given out. At this awards ceremony, the band and choir performed fabulously for the audience. Post Falls Middle School would like to thank the Post Falls community for their sensational support of this event. The students and parents that attended helped make this event a huge success! Thank you Post Falls!
