CHARTER: A+ journalism

| June 6, 2018 1:00 AM

Well done to staff writer Judd Wilson and to The Press for the excellent investigative report (Too Good To Count? June 3) revealing that the Idaho State Board of Education suppressed school scores for Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy. This apparently eliminated the Academy from competing in U.S. News and World Report’s “Best High Schools,” among others, where they had highly placed for years. I was most surprised to read that District 4 State Rep Paul Amador (R) says that is OK.

It is this type of dogged journalism that shines light on strange decisions by our officials.
