Prairie tops Bandits in 10 innings

SPOKANE — The Prairie Cardinals class AA team tied it with two runs in the top of the seventh inning, then scored a run in the 10th to beat the Spokane Bandits 5-4 in American Legion baseball action Sunday night at Hart Field.
Matt Fleming and Sam Schultz each drove in a pair of runs for Prairie (2-5), and Fleming, Tanner McCliment-Call and Brock Zeller each had two hits. Schultz also pitched 9 2/3 innings, striking out eight.
