RATHDRUM — A total of 33 men and women competed in the second North Idaho’s Strongest competition in Rathdrum.

This event, taking place during Rathdrum Days, was put on by the Rathdrum Parks and Recreation Department.

“There are not a lot of strongman competitions in our area so it’s great to have one so close to home,” said Derik Hudson, a returning competitor from last year. “I hope to see this contest continue to grow.”

Rathdrum Parks and Rec plans to put on the third annual event next July.
