Angola-Rodas signs

with Orlando Magic

Guard Braian Angola-Rodas, the North Idaho College product who later transferred to Florida State, signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Orlando Magic.

Angola-Rodas played with the Magic during the recent NBA Summer League.

Angola-Rodas averaged 12.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game for the Seminoles, who advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in March, eliminating Gonzaga in the Sweet 16 in Los Angeles. He led NIC to a 31-2 record in 2015-16, advancing to the NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan.

According to Hoopsrumors.com, players who sign Exhibit 10 deals often end up being waived before the start of the regular season and joining their team’s G-League affiliate. The Magic’s affiliate is the Lakeland Magic.
