E-commerce learning session for businesses

| July 14, 2018 1:00 AM

Free training for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to grow through e-commerce will be offered Aug. 28 by the SBA (U.S. Small Business Association) Spokane Branch.

The one-day only event will be from 2 to 5 p.m. at Eastern Washington University, 668 N. Riverside Blvd., Lecture Hall, No. 122, Spokane.

More and more consumers are going online to meet their shopping needs. According to the National Retail Federation, an estimated 122 million consumers shopped online last year and the numbers continue to grow.

The SBA and its partners want to help businesses be e-commerce ready so they can connect with these potential customers.

Instructors will include experts from Amazon and the Washington Small Business Development Center. Plus, a panel of local small business owners will share successes and lessons learned from expanding into the online marketplace.

Instructors and additional resource partners will be available afterward to visit with one-on-one.

Space is limited and registration is required.
