Waterfront property is moving fast on Lake Pend Oreille, and one of the lake’s premiere locations is about to be off the market permanently.

Marina Town sits along the shores of the Dover Bay Waterfront Community on Lake Pend Oreille, serving as the heart of the expansive, multi-neighborhood development. In addition to incredible lake views, Marina Town rests near Dover Bay’s abundant trail system, as well as the numerous resort amenities at the Marina Village.

Just one brand-new, move-in ready home is available in the Marina Village, a 1,528-square-foot, single-level, townhouse-style home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a modern open floor plan that showcases one-of-a-kind views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Construction will begin soon on the final two units at Marina Town. Development will then be complete for the often-in-demand neighborhood.

“Time is running out — this is the last chance to get in there,” said Marie Garvey, director of sales and marketing for Dover Bay. “It’s been extremely active here so far this summer and there’s been a lot of interest.”

The move-in ready home in Marina Town is an ideal entertaining space, with high ceilings, several big windows, abundant natural light and southern exposures. The home is stocked with a gas fireplace, high-end appliances, top-of-the-line finishes, an outdoor patio with gas barbecue stub, private courtyard, two-car garage and access to a private sandy beach. Price is $525,000.

Beach access to the lake is within steps, as are the amenities at the Marina Village, which includes the recently expanded marina, market, year-round heated outdoor swimming pool and spa, fitness center and tennis courts. The community’s seasonal, full-service restaurant, The Dish, is also in full swing for the duration of the summer.

Boat moorage is available at both seasonal and per-day rates, and the Village also offers paddleboards, kayaks, canoes and bikes for rental. Marina Town and the Marina Village connects directly to Dover Bay’s 9 miles of walking/bike trails, as well as its 9-plus acres of parks and beaches and more than 285 acres of forests, lakes and open meadows.

Vacation bungalows at Dover Bay are also a popular option for those visiting the Sandpoint area, which is located just 3 miles from the community. Sandpoint is a bustling summer hub, with numerous outdoor activities both within city limits as well as at the nearby Schweitzer Mountain Resort. The 16th annual Sandpoint Antique & Classic Boat Show is set for the downtown marina area on July 13-15. The multi-day live music-focused Festival at Sandpoint is another area tradition set for August.
