BROOKS: Man on a mission

Recently I met a gentleman. The kind you don’t run into very often in today’s world. He has a real passion for helping others. He is what you might call one who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.

His name is Bill Brooks and he is the consumer advocate for our newspaper. He carries the torch for all of us in Kootenai County when it comes to helping those who are being exploited. He does it religiously, without a lot of fanfare, and you can always count on him digging to the bottom of a problem someone has contacted him about. He doesn’t quit!

He works at this, I’m sure quite a few hours each day, seven days a week, and at times might even find himself in a thankless job. But, he’s like a bulldog and never lets up until he finds a solution. From all of us out there Bill… thank you for being there and doing what you do.
