CLUBS: Make sweet music

Ramsey Magnet School of Science recently received two grants from two fantastic local organizations: Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene and Sunrise Kiwanis Club of Coeur d’Alene. Rotary funded the purchase of 15 clarinets totaling $1,700. These instruments will be played day in and day out and will be used to start a beginning band program. Kiwanis donated funds to purchase penny whistles which has allowed me to teach kindergarten and first-graders the joys of playing instruments. I am very thankful to live in a community with organizations like these that supports the arts so fully. THANK YOU Rotary and Kiwanis and thank you Coeur d’Alene for your continued support.
