Kristin Kay Erick, 69

Kristin Kay Erick, 69, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away Jan. 15, 2018, at The Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’Alene. Kristin was born May 10, 1948, in Texas to Milton and Mary Irvine.

As a child, Kristin moved with her family to Oklahoma, and later to Missouri where she attended and graduated from high school in 1966. She then went on to business school.

Kristin eventually moved to Arizona. There she met Kenneth Erick and they were later married April 25, 1984. Together they raised their daughter there until 2000 when they moved to North Idaho.

Kristin loved spending time outside fishing, hunting and camping. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking and completing puzzles.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth of Coeur d’Alene; one daughter, Karri (Bob) Putnam of Spokane Valley, Wash.; three grandchildren, Nicole Richey of Coeur d’Alene, Gabrielle Kaylor of Coeur d’Alene and Dylan Putnam of Spokane; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Angelina, Aleeya, Sophia and Deja; and three brothers, Mike, Tim and Troy Irvine of Arizona. Kristin was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Candy Irvine.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Changing Lives of Spokane.
