CANADIAN: Christmas praise for Cd'A
I recently spent a wonderful two weeks in Coeur d’Alene. It was great to see Christmas celebrated so openly in your city. This doesn’t happen in my town anymore. It’s not politically correct to say CHRISTMAS anymore. Whereas, in Coeur d’Alene, I was not only greeted by the personnel in the stores with “Merry Christmas,” many of the stores had Christmas greetings painted on the windows. Season’s greeting and happy holidays doesn’t cut it: It’s Christmas.
Please don’t let political correctness take this away from you, as it has in Canada. I gave my old Hyundai Santa Fe a Christmas gift while in your wonderful city. I had it detailed. The person who cleaned the old beast up did such a wonderful job that the car sang carols all the way back to Canada. The man who did the detail lived on Rude Street, quite an odd name for a street, however he was very far from rude or impolite, he was a gentleman.
