DeHaas, a senior first baseman from Coeur d’Alene High, was named to the 2018 Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Divisiion II Player to Watch list. Last season, DeHaas started all 49 games for the Bald Eagles, leading the team in batting average at .403, which was fourth-best in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and 32nd nationwide. He finished with 56 hits, 5 home runs, 11 doubles, 29 runs batted in and 30 runs scored as a junior.

Sydney Williams

Williams, a 6-foot-1 senior post, is averaging 11.5 points per game this season for the Toreros (8-5, 1-1 West Coast Conference), who host Portland tonight. Williams has started all 13 games this season and is averaging 4.5 rebounds per game with 29 assists this season.

Max McCullough

Eastern Oregon basketball

McCullough, a 5-11 sophomore guard from Post Falls High, scored 23 points for the Mountaineers in an 80-77 win over Walla Walla on Dec. 30 in College Place, Wash. It was the eighth game this season with over 20 points scored, and is averaging 21.5 points per game this season. Eastern Oregon is 12-3, 4-3 in Cascade Conference play.
