Trickster's brewing medals at N.Y. beer competition

COEUR d’ALENE — Coeur d’Alene micro-brewery, Trickster’s Brewing Company, won silver and bronze medals and Idaho Brewery of the Year for 2018 at the New York International Beer Competition.

Trickster’s also has won the silver medal for Juice Box IPA in the American-Style India Pale Ale category and the bronze medal for the Trickster American Stout in the American-Style Stout category.

The competition attracted more than 600 entries from 14 countries in 50 different categories.

“We have been very proud of these beers since we first brewed them and have been improving them since the first batch,” said Matt Morrow, Trickster’s owner and CEO. “This is a welcome accolade for our brewery that we have all worked so hard for.”

The winning beers were brewed by brewers Evan Ruud and Nathan Vesser.

Trickster’s Brewing Company, 3850 N. Schreiber Way, offers products that can be found at select bars and restaurants in the Coeur d’Alene and Spokane areas.
