PUBLIC NOTICE KOOTENAI COUNTY TRANSIT OFFICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PARATRANSIT AND DEMAND RESPONSE SERVICES The Kootenai County Transit Office is soliciting responses from qualified and experienced service providers (hereto referred to as Respondent), to provide management, operations, and maintenance for paratransit and demand response services as outlined by this Request for Proposals (RFP) package. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in the RFP by 5:00 PM local time, 2 April 2018. Any proposal received after the date and time specified in this RFP will not be considered and returned, unopened, to the Respondent. An optional Pre-Proposal meeting will be held on 2 March 2018 at 10:00AM PT in Conference Room 2 of the Kootenai County Administration Building located at 451 North Government Way, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83814. . Every Respondent is invited to attend the Pre-Proposal meeting. Those wishing to attend should confirm their attendance to jbieze@kcgov.us by 1 March 2018. Those unable to attend the Pre-Proposal meeting may submit written questions to Jody Bieze at jbieze@kcgov.us. Kootenai County reserves the right to postpone answers to any questions raised during the Pre-Proposal meeting until a later date. Any oral explanations provided by Kootenai County during this meeting will not be binding upon Kootenai County until they are placed in written form by Kootenai County and given to all Respondents identified as having received a copy of the RFP. Respondents seeking a written response by Kootenai County to their questions at the Pre-Proposal meeting are requested to submit their questions in writing to Kootenai County. Attendance is encouraged by Kootenai County, but is not mandatory. Kootenai County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal submitting process, and to negotiate terms with the successful Respondent.
