PENDLETON, Ore. — Jalen Burkett led a balanced North Idaho College attack in a 110-51 win over the Blue Mountain Timberwolves in Northwest Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night.

NIC (20-7, 10-4 NWAC) had four others in double-figures, shooting 46 of 71 from the field.

NIC travels to Walla Walla on Saturday. The Cardinals trail the Warriors by one game for the East Region lead with two games remaining in the regular season.

Blue Mountain is 4-21, 1-14.

NIC (18-8, 9-5 NWAC) maintains a one-game lead on Treasure Valley for third in the East Region with two games remaining in the regular season.

Sydney Hovde scored 17 points on 8 of 9 from the field, grabbing nine rebounds for NIC, which travels to East-leading Walla Walla (26-1, 14-0) on Saturday. The Warriors have won 24 straight games.

Blue Mountain is 1-25, 0-15.
