Tyler McCliment-Call

Post Falls High

McCliment-Call, a 5-foot-9 sophomore guard, scored 21 points to lead the Trojans past previously unbeaten Eagle 62-53 in the state 5A girls basketball championship game last Saturday at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. McCliment-Call also scored 24 points, including hitting the eventual game-winning 3-pointer with 14.7 seconds left in Friday’s 47-45 semifinal win over Borah of Boise. “She’s been really good all year long,” Post Falls coach Marc Allert said of McCliment-Call after Friday’s game. “She’s played really, really well in the last two games and scored for us. Right now, she’s playing with a lot of confidence and we set that play up for her knowing that she’s playing with that confidence. She did her job and knocked it down.”
