Virtual Reality CDA to open downtown

| February 18, 2018 12:09 AM

Whether you want to travel the world, create 3-D art or have a lightsaber duel, the possibilities are endless at Virtual Reality CDA. This new place opens Friday in the former Wiggett Antique Mall building at 115 S. Fourth St.

“You can come face to face with imagination,” said owner Colton Hoffman.

The place uses imaging in four stations — that will expand to seven — for ages 7 and older. The historic building originally was the Roxy Theatre.

Hours are 2 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Phone 208-292-4738. Check www.virtualrealitycda.com.

Arlon Rosenoff Studio and Gallery opens downtown

Artwork of palette knife impressionism is the specialty of Arlon Rosenoff in his studio and gallery at 116 N. Fourth St.

“I paint with the palette knife because it gives me the opportunity to interact with paint in a very tactile, expressionistic way,” Rosenoff said. “The surfaces of my paintings are very telling, sometimes resembling a mosaic of palette knife strokes.”

- I used to be indecisive. Now I’m not sure.
