ANNIVERSARY

Ray and Vickie Johnson

70th Anniversary

Ray Johnson and Vickie (Faulkner) Johnson will be celebrating their 70th, yes 70th! wedding anniversary on Feb. 28, 2018.

Ray born in Rose Lake, and Vickie born in Coeur d’Alene, were married in 1948 at First Presbyterian Church in Coeur d’Alene.

They raised four boys in Coeur d’Alene — Steve, Craig, Jeff and Tim, and are the proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Locals will remember Ray from his years as a journeyman carpenter working out of Carpenter’s Local 1691 or from his teaching in the carpentry apprenticeship program at North Idaho College; Vickie from her many years in retail in Coeur d’Alene and as the owner of the Fashionette on Sherman Avenue, from 1971 to 1983.

Their advice for living … “Don’t sweat the small stuff!”

Friends and relatives are invited to come share this special celebration with them at an open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, in the Family Center at First Presbyterian Church, 521 Lakeside, Coeur d’Alene.
