PLAY: Don't miss it

| February 14, 2018 12:00 AM

The play “Sweet Charity” at the Kroc Center is really worth your time. The show is great, cute story. The cast is excellent.

Amber makes a very “Sweet” Charity, and Oscar played by Easton Townsend plays the shy guy perfectly.

Singing, dancing is all wonderful. This is the first time I was able to really hear Dennie Thorpe’s vocals. She did great and I hope she snags a lead role sometime.

The band is out of sight backstage, but just knowing that “Real Live Musicians” are performing the tunes makes it exciting, adds a great dimension to the performance. It is like going to New York for a show, but it’s right here at home.

I suggest you grab the kids, turn off the TV and see real live people entertaining. You will be glad you did. It will be good for your soul, especially the kids!

Please support all forms of live entertainment before it all goes away.

You have Wednesday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. and also 2 p.m. matinee Saturday and Sunday.
