- BOYS

POST FALLS — Post Falls finished the night 17 of 24 from inside the 3-point line in a 58-28 win over Lake City in the 5A Inland Empire League finale for both schools Friday at The Arena.

“Lake City did a good job of taking away our transition opportunities,” Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. “We did a good job of taking the shots we wanted and moving the ball around and finding the open passing lane. Lake City did a good job of getting us off the 3-point line, but we did a good job of taking advantage of our opportunities.”

The teams will meet again to open the Region 1 tournament next Friday at 6:30 p.m. at The Arena.
