Dorothy Louis Smith, 87

Dorothy went home to our Heavenly Father at the age of nearly 88. She was an incredibly loving wife and mother. Dorothy was born in Choteau, Mont., to Eugene and Laura Foster.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Pletcher and Oliver Smith; daughter-in-law, Carol Pletcher; sisters, Opel Hollar and Hazel Wood and brother, Kenneth Foster.

Dorothy is survived by her two children, Donald (Val Opel) Pletcher and Denise (Ron) Kennedy; granddaughters, Erika (Chris) Pletcher-Hiligas, Jessie (Casey) Corbin; grandson, Nicholas (Julie) Jensen; three great-granddaughters, Audrey, Cora and Sienna; sister, Bernice Cook; cousins, Jack (Bonna Lee) Luinstra, Robert Hollar and adopted sister, Liz Booher.

Dorothy worked for the United States Forest Service for many years and enjoyed gold panning, gardening, crafts and visiting and playing cards with many friends. She was a proud member of the Elks and Eagles organizations.
