Technique Gymnastics traveled to Kennewick, Wash., for the Wine Country Classic in memory of Rod Ostboe. The following are the results of Technique girls who placed in the top 3 in their level:

Level 3: Kirsten Iames placed 1st on vault, 1st on floor, and 2nd All Around. Khloe Martin placed 3rd on Beam, Brooklynn Widmer placed 1st on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Beam and 2nd All Around. Elsa Laker placed 1st on Beam. Ava Nordberg placed 1st on Vault. Out of 2 sessions of Level 3’s, Technique brought home the 4th place Team Award.

Level 5: Naomi Fritts placed 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Floor, and 3rd All Around. Diana Bustillos placed 1st on Vault. Level 5 team brought home the 3rd place Team Award.

Indoor swim lessons: Registration will begin Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 8 a.m. for the next six-week session of indoor swim lessons sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department and held at the McGrane Center.

Classes offered are Parent-Tot and 3-year-olds and above with different levels. Classes are held on Monday or Wednesday evenings and also Saturday morning classes are offered for some levels. Classes start the week of Feb. 26.

Registration will take place at the Coeur d’Alene City Hall Recreation Department, 710 Mullan Ave. Cost is $37. There is limited registration. No pre-registration is allowed.
