Brenda Ann Ramirez-West

May 22, 1956 – Jan. 22, 2018

Brenda Ann Ramirez-West, 61, a resident of Post Falls, Idaho, received her angel wings Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 after a brave battle with liver cancer. She was surrounded by the love, laughter and comfort of her children and close friends.

Brenda embodied strength, grace and beauty. She was loved by many. She never hesitated to take life’s challenges head on. Proof of this was in her role as both mother and father to her seven children, Bernadette, Louis, Alphonsus, Angelique, Michael, Rosanna and Richard Ramirez, to whom she taught work ethic, a sense of humor and unconditional love. Brenda possessed a boundless passion for people and adventure, particularly that in the outdoors. She lived by the motto, “life, one day at a time.” Brenda loved spending time with her 13 grandchildren with whom her legacy lives on.

Brenda was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on May 22, 1956; raised with her two brothers, Michael Reed and Tom Gonzales, by their loving parents, Rebecca G. Reed and Charles D. Reed. Brenda’s spirit is now joined with her late husband, William H. West, and her mother and father.

In remembrance of Brenda her family wishes you to speak of the legacy she left behind to family, friends and strangers.
