Free show gives contemporary look at Lewis and Clark expedition

Across the Divide, an original, educational musical that takes a present-day look at the Lewis and Clark expedition through the eyes of a contemporary middle school student, will be performed at the Coeur d’Alene Library Community Room at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8.

Syringa Networks and The Ovation Company are sponsoring this one-night-only, free public performance of Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre school tour show. The evening will also feature a talkback with the cast about this form of professional “edu-tainment” theatre. Across the Divide, book and lyrics by Jadd Davis and Aimee Paxton and music by Henry McNulty. Information: education@cdasummertheatre.com.
