THANKS: Super stores surface

The LCSC Students of Social Work Club (SOSW) would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the Super 1 Foods of Hayden Store for their continued support and amazing generosity in helping us raise funds for charitable events for children and young adults in our area. Last spring they donated over six dozen (!) cakes, pies and cookies for our Family Fun Night event to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club. Honorable mention and a huge Thank You to Safeway on Neider Avenue, Albertson’s on Ironwood Drive, and the CdA Super 1 Store for also contributing bakery goods for this event.

Their generosity made our charitable events successful and fun! Our event raised $1,000 for the Boys & Girls Club for helping to support children and families! We also participated in a Foster Youth Christmas party put on by Health & Welfare in early December, and again, Hayden Super 1 (Super Store!) donated dozens of day-old yummy baked goods for a cake walk to add to celebration for the amazing youth of our community who have aged out of foster care.

These wonderful businesses/grocery stores are giving back to their communities in small yet very important ways. We want to thank them for all they have done for the community, including donations for the senior centers and numerous other groups, service providers and other charitable events. Super 1 Hayden Store is the Best!
