GRESSLER: A final word

| December 28, 2018 12:00 AM

Lee Gibson said he was going to “mind his own business and quit writing letters,” even apologizing for being nasty. At the time, I said Gibson will cave before Christmas. I was right.

It’s a good thing Rambo (Gibson) joined the Navy because with his lack of discipline, he would never have made it in the Marines. Now that Rathdrum has a real-life Rambo, I think The Press ought to do an article on our new hero. Wow, five silver medals and saving his fellow shipmates by risking life and limb beyond the call of duty. I asked him last February if he was ever in a war zone. Simple, yes or no. He still has not answered. Why did he wait 10 months before he came out with all this hero stuff?

This will be my last letter, at least for awhile. First of all, all those supporting Trump are too blind to change their minds. The V.A. receiving $6.2 million in 2017 for suicide prevention and only spending $57,000; Mattis quitting under protest; pulling out of Syria and Afghanistan (Putin happy); and government shutting down. Just in one week.

Second, I have had people call me or tell me in person what great letters I write, but nobody backs me up in public (LTE). I’m tired of getting snake bit by the vipers. Somebody else’s turn.

Facts are not hate, just facts.

DANIEL ‘KILLER’ GRESSLER

P.S. I agree with Steve Cameron re: Prop 2 and the NFL.
