U.S.: A Christian nation

In recent times, there has been discussion about America being a Christian nation.

If we are not a Christian nation, it has to be obvious to anyone that this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. The Declaration of Independence makes this clear statement:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men…”

The Supreme Court has stated that this is a Christian Nation in 1892 (Holy Trinity V. United States).

Preambles to all 50 constitutions mention God.

Only those with Christian backgrounds were signers of the Declaration and the Constitution. Even Earl Warren, one of the more liberal Supreme Court Justices, took note of our Christian heritage. https://bit.ly/2Q1y0de

Our whole system of government is based on the Bible. We have only had problems when we turned away from those principles. We need to go back and reclaim the principles upon which this great nation was founded.
