PHILLIPS: Gets this vote

I read about Carrie Phillips leaving (forced out of) her position at the Kootenai County Elections Office. I just wanted to say I have been a chief judge for elections under Carrie while she has been the elections manager, and have enjoyed working for and with her. I want to say thank you to Carrie for all she does for her workers, for always having a smile during trainings even under the most stressful of elections, and for always having our backs. Her knowledge of the rules and laws of elections were always spot on. And she never failed to come through with any problems that I needed help with at my precinct.

I know that I for one will really miss her and I am very sorry to see her leave. And I want to wish her well in whatever the future brings her. She deserves it! Thank you, Carrie Phillips. It has been a pleasure knowing you and working for you!
