Von Till earns Resort and Second-Home Specialist Certification

Kristin Von Till, with Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty, has been awarded the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) Certification. The RSPS Certification is a nationally recognized certification awarded by the National Association of Realtors to real estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote — to consumers and their peers alike — their expertise in the resort and second home specialty.

Von Till joins more than 1,600 real estate professionals who have earned the RSPS certification by successfully completing the Resort & Second-Home Markets Course along with three webinars in the field of resort and second home real estate. She now joins other real estate professionals who specialize in buying, selling, or managing second homes in a resort, recreational, and/or vacation destination and properties for investment, development, or retirement.

Contact Von Till at 208-667-1551 or Kristin.vontill@sotebysrealty.com.

Wasson now certified building inspector

ALLWEST Testing & Engineering can now add building inspection to the company’s menu of services. Jim Wasson, ALLWEST’s non-destructive testing manager, recently passed the exam to become the company’s first certified building inspector.

Wasson, who has been with ALLWEST since 2005, lives in Spokane and provides services for the company’s Spokane, Hayden and Lewiston offices. With his new international certification, Wasson can provide clients with third-party building inspections — a service that used to be provided solely by municipal building departments.

He holds numerous certifications through the International Code Council, including Reinforced Concrete, Post-Tension Concrete, Structural Masonry, Fireproofing and Structural Steel Bolting. Wasson also has a Level 1 Certification through the Prestressed Concrete Institute and is an American Welding Society Certified Welding Instructor.
