Here are some of the best and brightest holiday lights displays in Kootenai County this year!

COEUR D’ALENE:
- 503 E. Mullan Ave., Coeur d’Alene — At this apartment complex, most units are decorated with lights. The lawn features Santa on a Harley, as well as Santa on a hover board.
- 1930 N. Fifth St., Coeur d’Alene
- 1210 E. Indiana Ave., Coeur d’Alene
- 1212 E. Montana Ave., Coeur d’Alene — One of the largest residential Christmas trees in Coeur d’Alene. This whimsical house features a laser light shower, whirling snow globes, holiday trees, lighted flashing presents, and a snowman named Frosty.
- 1907 E. Montana Ave., Coeur d’Alene
- 3506 N. Pinehill Place, Coeur d’Alene.
- Corner of Margaret and Ezy Street in Coeur d’Alene, just off Fourth, near the roundabout. The display features a VW bug decorated with lights and full-sized reindeer.
POST FALLS
- 1295 N. Jenicek Court, Post Falls — Don’t miss this dazzling display set to music.
- 712 W. 12th Ave., Post Falls
- 815 Chisholm Court, Post Falls — On the Highlands Golf Course. In this neighborhood, 27 homes display identical red-lighted holiday trees. The tradition dates back to the 1990s.
- 2925 N. Sand Trap Way, Post Falls
- 3117 Thrush Drive, Post Falls
- 518 Shore Pines Court, Post Falls — This display features 20,000 lights timed to music.
HAYDEN
- 12585 N. Shamrock St., Hayden — In addition to lights and other decorations, this house features a G-scale train that runs nightly from 6pm to 9pm.
- 1386 E. Westdale Ave., Hayden
- 179 E. Miles Ave., Hayden
- 615 E. Miles Ave., Hayden — “The Little House that Could!” These decorations were put up by a husband and wife duo who did not let the husband’s ongoing battle with cancer put a damper on their Christmas spirit.
