A Post Falls woman accused of murder-for-hire was booked into Spokane County Jail on federal charges early Wednesday.

Katrina Lynn Danforth, 31, was arrested following an indictment handed down Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Idaho.

Danforth remained in custody in jail in Spokane Wednesday evening on a hold for the U.S. Marshal Service. Her case is assigned to the FBI.

The Spokesman-Review reported Danforth is an adult film actress who goes by the stage name Lynn Pleasant.

Business records filed with the Idaho Secretary of State show Danforth is the registered owner of Lynn Pleasant, LLC, a business with an address in Post Falls.

Danforth is charged with five counts of “use of interstate commerce in the commission of murder-for-hire,” according to federal court records acquired by The Press.

The indictment alleges Danforth used or facilitated the use of a telephone or mail multiple times between Oct. 20 and Nov. 19 to arrange a murder in exchange for money.

The target is identified in the records as “R.H.”

Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci Whelan in Coeur d’Alene confirmed Wednesday that the individual, who lives in Idaho, was not harmed, according to the Spokesman-Review.
