Atlas/Riverstone traffic study open house tonight

| December 20, 2018 12:00 AM

Community members are invited to join the city of Coeur d’Alene and ignite cda today for an open house regarding the Atlas Waterfront/Riverstone Traffic Impact Study.

The meeting will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Coeur d’Alene Public Library.

City staff and Welch Comer, the engineering firm working on the project, will answer questions for the first half-hour of the session. At 5:30, a brief presentation of the study process and findings will be followed by additional time for members of the public to ask questions.

Community members will have an opportunity to provide written comments at the meeting and by email to atlastis@welchcomer.com. The public comment period will end Sunday.

The draft Traffic Impact Study report will be completed by the end of the month and routed to agencies, including KMPO and ITD, for review and comment. The final report will be completed in January. Public comments will be included in the final report.
